The Auditorium Series (AS) have the size and the depth of a Dreadnought, but their narrower waist makes them feel more like an OM especially when playing these guitar while sitting down. Coined the "Revenge of the Dread," they have much of the drive and power of the Dreadnought, but their refined body shape offers more clarity to individual notes. The Auditorium Series are an excellent choice to add a cutaway option to. The AS is also an excelent model for longer scale instruments (Think "Baritonish.")

Some flatpickers really enjoy the AS model for thier style of music. John has added "more" modern features such as soundport or egonomic (Manzer-style) wedge shape to an AS flatpicking model. Although not a traditional as the Dreadnought, the AS allows John some freedom to explore options that would not "fit" on a traditional guitar.
